It was unprecedented for everyone when COVID -19 pandemic hit countries, business and people irrespective of class, income and boundaries. Our team has over 3,000 ambulances on ground and more than 10,000 EMS healthcare workers on the frontline fighting the war against COVID 19. Our ambulance crew members and helpline staff worked round the clock to transfer over 1.09 lac COVID-19 patients and attend over 2 million queries at our medical helpline.

A day before Cyclone Fani hit the Odisha coast, 108 and 102 ambulances had relocated most of the patient’s from the cyclone affected districts Puri, Khurda, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur and Ganjam. Our Dial 108 & 102 Ambulance crew ensured that the people of Odisha received appropriate care before, during and after cyclone Fani hit the state. The service was active across the towns of Cuttack, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara , Khurda and Puri. Our team has served over 6,000 citizens to transfer to safer locations.

Severe floods affected the south Indian state Kerala, and was the worst flood in Kerala in nearly a century. Affected by the devastating floods in districts of Thiruvalla (IraviPerur,Niranam),Kozhanchery, Kothad - Aster Medicity,Aluva ,Cheranellur and Kottayam . Based on the severity of the natural calamity Ziqitza team voluntarily started the rescue operations and deployed ambulances with basic amenities and medicines.Doctors and medical care camps were set up to help people who were stranded in various parts of the state, and was successful in saving more than 500 people. Hundreds of stranded people in need of medical emergency were transferred to hospitals and air pads.

The Amritsar Train Disaster was a major accident which occurred when two Indian Railways passenger trains rode into a crowd of people in the eastern outskirts of Amritsar, Punjab. The crowd had gathered to watch celebrations for the Dussehra and were standing on the tracks. The accident occurred in the early evening, injuring and killing many lives. Our 108 Ambulances came to the aid of the people of Amritsar who were affected by the train accident. The company deployed 11 ambulances which reached the spot within 12 minutes of the first call received from the sight, to help reduce the impact of the disastrous catastrophe. The injured victims and others who were in need of emergency help were promptly transported to the nearest hospitals.

Ziqitza Team in Odisha as part of its 108 Ambulance Service in the state worked round the clock citizens during the 2 day cyclone period.Over 36 pregnant women were safely transported to hospital from rescue camps. About 100 call center executives and senior staff were present 24x7to provide emergency service to the people. All Cluster Leaders were available at all district headquarter hospitals to provide all medical assistance to the people.

In two days of cyclones, the 108 Odisha Emergency Medical Ambulance Service (OEMAS) saw an average of 21,000 calls per day. As many as 750 people were served by 108 Ambulance despite zero ground visibility, extreme wind speed & rain.

An overloaded private bus operating in the Ambalappuzha-Alappuzha in route in Kerala turned turtle after it collided with an Ambassador car on the NH 47 at Kalarkode S D College Junction left more than 50 people seriously injured. Our team along with local police sprung immediately into action and saved the lives of those who were stranded in the bus and transferred them to the nearest hospital.

Multiple terrorist attacks that occurred on November 26 th –29th, 2008. Series of shooting and bombing attacks lasted four days across Mumbai . Once of the most tragic situations where our Ambulances were deployed at multiple locations as Oberoi Trident ,Taj Mahal Palace & Tower , CST Station working selflessly day and night helping victims providing timely medical Aid our staff has also gone beyond call of duty by donating blood to the victims in many cases.

A collision between a CNG-run state transport bus and a chemical tanker in Anand district in Gujarat. The mishap occurred when the bus which was headed towards Vadodara on national highway number eight in Anand district hit the chemical tanker while trying to overtake. It posed a serious threat to leakage of chemicals in the environment and killing more people. In a few minutes our team reached on time to rescue people and transfer them to the hospital giving them first aid and pre – hospital care.

The 2006 Surat flood occurred over 7th –10th August 2006, which affected Surat and nearby villages. About 80–95% of Surat was flooded. The sudden release of a large amount of water into the Tapti River from the Ukai Dam has caused the flood making the place standstill for days the moment our Dial 108 team got to know about this the entire 108 team in Surat and nearby places got alerted and helped locals evacuating, giving them First Aid , pre- hospital care and transferring them to the hospitals. Our team has worked day and night, worked beyond the call of duty to help save thousands of lives.

The 2006 Mumbai train bombings were a series of seven bomb blasts on 11 July. They took place over a period of 11 minutes on the Suburban Railway in Mumbai. The bombs were set off in pressure cookers on trains plying on the Western Railway. The blasts killed 209 people and injured over 700 creating havoc, our ambulances within no time reached the location helping people giving First Aid and transferring critically injured people to the hospitals.

One of the worst ever rail accidents in Samlaya Gujarat, the Ahmedabad-bound Sabarmati Express rammed into a stationary container freight train at Samlaya Station about 25km from Vadodara, killing at least 17 people and injuring many early in morning knowing about the situation our 108 team got active, reach the location and helped evacuate people and helped giving them proper first aid and transferring them to the hospital.

26 July, is used to refer to the day when the city of Mumbai came to a standstill due to flooding.It occurred just one month after similar flooding in Gujarat.Many people were stranded on the roads, lost their homes while many walked long distances back home from work that evening. Our Ambulances along with our medical staff were on ground for 2-3 days helping people in need providing them First Aid , Medicines and helping them reach hospitals.
