Women Helpline (WHL) is working with the one stop centre scheme (OSC) under which one OSC will be set up in every State/UT to provide integrated support and assistance to women affected by Violence, both in private and public space under one roof.
Under this scheme, the state/UT will utilise their existing women helpline through a dedicated single national number. 181 Women Helpline (WHL) is a 24-hour confidential service for women and child survivors and victims of any form of violence including domestic & intimate partner. The multi-channel helpline is available through dialling 181, email and through online chatting. All calls are free and confidential. Ziqitza has the experience of setting up and managing 181 Helpline for over 5 years in Punjab and handled over 15,000 cases.
